Throughout the following years, Randy remained in the arts through different productions. At the age of nineteen, he booked his first professional job with Spirit of Washington, Spirit Cruises. Also in the same year he worked as a singer with the Gene Donati Big Band. A few years later Randy had the honor to be a part of The Temptation of St. Anthony production tour in Warsaw, Poland where he worked alongside the incomparable Avery Brooks. In this production he also had the pleasure to be directed by Robert Wilson and sing the amazing songs written and composed by Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon and her daughter Toshi Reagon of Toshi Reagon BIGLovely.
With these life-changing opportunities, his love for the arts further propelled him to study at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York City. There he honed his classical voice and musical theater skills and received his B.A. in Voice Performance.
Since then, Randy has been in many more tours and has been involved in great workshops including Parable of the Sower where he again worked with Dr. Bernice Johnson Reagon and Toshi Reagon. In this workshop, he also had the honor to be directed by Peter Sellars. Soon after, Randy was cast as The Maestro in Ivan Jacob's The Phantom of the Opera. Shortly after, Randy took a contract in Lancaster, Pennsylvania; not knowing at the time, Lancaster is where he would fall in love with his wife and call home for the next 10+ years. Since then, he has performed some of his dreams roles to date and is currently traveling with his wife Abigail and mini-aussiedoodle Kai across North America in the Les Misérables National Tour.
